This site is inspired by various principles and core values: democracy, rule of law, fundumental rights, freedom of expression, justice, environmental and economic sustainability, fairness and social protection.
These videos are but a few select clips which capture the essence of moral an ethical makeup which motivates us to do our work in selecting, cataloguing and reporting cases on the accountability radar.
We hope this radar can help us fight and prevent in the future by enabling informed choices.
We can make better informed choices if we dont focus only on the few cases and incidents we remember, but on a clear measurement of cases that are reported over time (say a legislature), and the areas of performance failure by government which require change and new impetus.
All data on the radar can be donloaded and used for further assessment by everyone. We also hope that readers will contribute to populating this database by submitting cases. We factcheck all submissions prior to publishing also to ensure that all classifications entered are consistent.
